PURPOSE OF YOUR JOB
Provide appropriate support, challenge and guidance to a caseload of customers so as many as possible secure appropriate, long term, sustainable outcomes.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES/ KEY RESULT AREAS
Manage a caseload of customers to ensure appropriate and effective contractual activity is undertaken by all customers according to their level of job readiness.
Address customer's personal constraints to employment, providing challenge, advice and guidance where appropriate to develop customer's capability in the recruitment process ensuring they have the necessary skills and confidence to secure employment.
Identify, structure and recommend vacancy and training solutions, working in close consultation with EST Consultants and Tutors,to meet the specific needs of customers and employers.
Provide advice, guidance and support for customers during their initial weeks of employment, supporting their transition from welfare to employment to maximise the potential for customers to sustain employment in the long term.
Develop relationships and networks with key stakeholders including employers, jobcentre teams and provisions and funding providers to ensure smooth operation of all processes
Observe and adhere to our customer service standards so that all customers are provided with the same high standard of service that maximises their chances of securing sustainable employment.
Maintain IT files and customer records to a required quality standard to ensure the customer journey is documented in accordance with our quality standards.
Identify employment and other work related opportunities with employers through marketing candidates directly into employers.
Ensure compliance with our company policies(including Health & Safety, Safeguarding and Data Security) so customers and colleagues are protected at all times.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
A good standard of general education and experience of the world of work
Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Information & Guidance (preferred but not essential).
Experience of working in a customer focused, results driven environment.
The ability to build rapport and work effectively with challenging individuals
Knowledge of the local labour market
Experience of appropriate IT systems

Service Delivery Consultant Team Leader
Location: Poole Operational Hub
Working hours: 16-18.5 hours per week
As a Service Delivery Team Leader, you'll be responsible for the line management of the Service Delivery Administrators, who are based at our Operational Hub in Poole.
The team is responsible for the administration related to Unpaid Work, Case Management and Interventions administration. They undertake admin processes to facilitate Breach, Recall, Case Termination and so on, on behalf of the frontline functions they support.
In addition to this, the team is responsible for monitoring and compliance;liaising with Offender Management; supporting the delivery of placements;obtaining evidence for taking orders back to court; supporting placement management; and providing access to the provision of Education, Training and Employment services.
As team leader, you'll need to be able to lead, motivate, develop and performance manage the team to deliver against their required quality and targets and the agreed Operating Level Agreements between the front office and our Operational Hubs. And you'll be required to maintain a broad level of best practice and accurate data management and reporting systems, ensuring reports on all aspects of service user activity are monitored and analysed so the business can understand performance against the contract.
This is a key role in terms of performance and you will work as part of a wider team of Team Leaders within DDC CRC and the wider Working Links CRC group which covers Bristol, Gloucester, Somerset and Wiltshire and Wales.
